Lease Operator – Advanced (7100) - Works independently and consults foreman with unusual or critical issues. Operates large and more complex oil and gas leases. Uses advanced knowledge of surface and downhole equipment and wells to troubleshoot problems. Requires high school education or equivalent, valid driver's license and 7+ years of experience.
Lease Operator- Intermediate (7105) - Works with little daily supervision, to operate and maintain oil and gas leases. Uses intermediate knowledge of surface and downhole equipment and wells to trouble shoot problems. High school education or equivalent, valid driver's license and a mechanical aptitude. Requires high school education or equivalent, valid driver's license, and 3-6 years of experience.
Lease Operator – Entry (7110) - Under general supervision, operates and maintains oil and gas leases. Acquiring a basic understanding of surface and downhole equipment to troubleshoot well and mechanical problems. Requires high school education, valid driver's license and 0-2 years of experience.
Roustabout/Helper (7200) - Primarily performs manual labor in maintaining oil and gas leases. May assist mechanics and/or lease operators with equipment repairs. A valid drivers' license and mechanical aptitude required.
Mechanic – Senior (7205) - Works independently and consults foreman with unusual or critical issues. Services, maintains, and repairs equipment used to produce, process and transport hydrocarbons. Uses advance knowledge of equipment to troubleshoot problems. Requires high school education or equivalent, valid driver's license and 5+ years of relevant experience.
Mechanic (7210) - Under general supervision, works to service maintain and repair equipment used to produce, process and transport hydrocarbons. High school education or equivalent, valid driver's license and 1-5 years of field experience.
Field Technician – Advanced (7300) - This is a specialized position that may work in either, artificial lift, SCADA, or in a measurement capacity. Uses advanced knowledge to install equipment and peripheral devices to optimize well performance and or confirm production sales from wells. Requires high school education and 7+ years of experience.
Field Technician – Intermediate (7305) - This is a specialized position that may work in either in artificial lift, SCADA, or in a measurement capacity. Uses intermediate knowledge to install, maintain or repair equipment and peripheral devices to optimize well performance and or confirm production sales from wells. High school education and 3 - 6 years of technician experience.
Field Technician – Entry (7310) - This is a specialized position that may work in either, artificial lift, SCADA, or in a measurement capacity. Uses basic knowledge to install equipment and peripheral devices to optimize well performance and or confirm production sales from wells. Requires high school education and 3+ years as a lease operator or mechanic.
Environmental Health & Safety Specialist (7315) – Ensures site personnel are informed of site safe working procedures and practices. Communicates, coordinates, and/or administers EHS training. Investigates incidents or near miss events including completion of necessary reports and documentation, analyzing causes to determine safety measures to prevent future incidents, and influencing the implementation of corrective actions. Conducts inspections and audits to ensure corrective actions are monitored and documented. Completes, documents, and submits all required EHS reports and recordkeeping information. Requires at least 4 years of EHS experience and knowledge of health & safety regulatory requirements.
Foreman – Senior (7400) - First line supervisor working in either construction, drilling, completions, or production role. In smaller companies may perform duties in one or more of these roles. In the senior role may supervise other foreman or be responsible for a large area and many direct reports. Supervises the work of contractors, lease operators, mechanics, and technicians. Requires 5+ years of foreman experience and increasing responsibilities.
Foreman (7405) - First line supervisor working in either construction, drilling, completions, or production role. In smaller companies may perform duties in one or more of these roles. Supervises the work of contractors, lease operators, mechanics, and technicians. Requires at least 7 years of field experience as an individual contributor with increasing responsibilities.
Superintendent – Senior (7500) - Responsible for supervising the daily activities of a large production or drilling area. Coordinates contract crews, trucking and well service activities. Coordinates the selection and purchase equipment. Manages vendors and approves the payment of invoices for the area. Responsible for optimization of production or drilling activities. Requires 10+ or more years of relevant experience.
