Assembler I (8005) - Assembles component parts using a variety of hand and power tools, such as screwdrivers, ratchets, wrenches, drills, reamers, cut off blades, abrasive belts, etc.; coordinates and processes assembly orders and materials; sets-up, adjusts, changes tools, and materials; monitors the product quality; and maintains the production flow of quality acceptable products to the production schedule. Requires the ability to read and write and follow verbal and written instructions and 1 – 2 years’ related work experience.

Forklift Operator (8010) - Operates a manually controlled gasoline or electric-powered truck or tractor to transport goods and materials of all kinds about a warehouse, manufacturing plant, or other establishment. Truck or tractor may be equipped with forklift, elevating platform, or trailer hitch, to push, pull, lift, stack or tier merchandise, equipment or bulk materials in warehouse, storage yard or factory; moves levers and depresses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus; positions forks or lifting platform under loaded pallets, skids, or boxes, or hooks tow trucks to trailer hitch, and transports load to designated area; unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lift forks and lifting platform; may inventory materials on work floor, and supply workers with materials as needed; may lubricate truck, recharge battery and fill fuel tank. Requires the ability to read and write and follow verbal and written instructions with at least 1 year of related work experience and certification.
Machinist I (8015) - Sets up and operates various types of milling machines and lathes to perform operation on individual or quantity production; selects, mounts, and aligns various machine attachments and standard tooling; sets and adjusts speeds, feeds, and depth of cut; and operates milling machines and/or lathes to perform work to close tolerances with the aid of all special holding fixtures; plans sequence of machining operations on parts where operational sequence is established and/or specified; performs operations such a milling multiple and single angles, radii, end milling, splines, serrations and key ways; and performs drilling, reaming, tapping, and slotting. Requires technical school education or equivalent with 2 - 4 years’ related work experience.
Machinist II (8016) - Sets up and operates various types of milling machines and lathes to perform operations on individual or quantity production, tooling, maintenance, and/or experimental parts; selects, mounts, and aligns various machine attachments and standard or improvised tooling; sets and adjusts speeds, feeds, and depth of cut; and operates milling machines and/or lathes to perform work to close tolerances with the aid of all special holding fixtures and attachments; plans sequence of machining operations on parts where operational sequence is established and/or specified; improvises set-ups with or without the aid of standard holding fixtures, attachments, or tooling; uses rotary tables, dividing or indexing heads, slotting attachments, and sub-heads to perform operations such as milling compound/multiple/ single angles, radii, slab and end milling, straddle and gang milling, splines, serrations and key ways, and gears and sprockets; and performs drilling, boring, reaming, tapping, slotting, chamfering, and elongating holes. Requires technical school education or equivalent with 5+ years’ related work experience.
Material Handler (8020) - Performs manual and clerical material handling duties to provide supplies to assembly lines for continuous production; opens boxes and places parts and supplies in proper location; returns materials to the warehouse and properly disposes of rejects when necessary. Requires the ability to read and write and follow verbal and written instructions, lift materials weighing up to some specified level, and have basic arithmetic skills with at least 1 year related work experience.
Order Puller (8022) - Reads customer shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed; performs shipping activities including picking, packaging, transferring, replenishing, palletizing, weighing, and preparing orders; performs receiving activities including receiving, putting away, transferring, replenishing and palletizing according to predetermined sequence; performs returned goods processing; uses computer, scales or other equipment to enter records of weight or count of items for distribution and to mark materials with identifying information; operates and performs basic preventive maintenance on forklift or other materials handling equipment and uses equipment to transport stored items. Requires high school education or equivalent with 1 – 2 years’ related experience and lifting and/or moving of items weighing up to 50 pounds.
CNC Programmer (8025) - Writes computer numerical control programs for use in production machinery; develops original operation sequences and recommends changes in machining processes to enhance efficiency and/or quality; determines set-up and fixturing requirements for alternate methods of machining; selects the necessary tools that are used in cutting and in establishing the sequence of operations of the machine’s operations; creates the specific machine codes in order to drive the cutting tool’s cutter path; checks new programs using trial runs or simulations to ensure that machinery will function properly and the output will meet specifications; revises and/or updates programs to correct errors and to reflect shop, engineering, or program changes; may also perform skilled machinist duties. Requires technical school education or equivalent with 3+ years’ related programming experience utilizing graphics and language-based systems and regenerating engineering geometry manually/transcribing the information from the third-party software like Excel, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks.
Production Machine Operator (8030) - Sets up or checks set up and operates single purpose machine, such as injection molder, automatic welder, stamping, and marking machine; checks machine functions; cleans and adjusts machines as necessary; and ensures proper tooling, marking, or other operational devices are properly located and functioning; operates machine to produce sample parts; produces first piece of production run; inspects piece per instructions; notifies supervision to commence production run; performs rework of the same level of complexity as required and may be required to cross train on other machines. Requires high school education or equivalent with at least 1 year related work experience.
Production Manager (8033) – Directs and coordinates the activities of the organization to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations and maximize profits; utilizes knowledge of product technology, production methods and procedures and capabilities of machines and equipment; plans and develops organization policies and goals and implements goals through subordinate personnel; coordinates activities of departments such as operating, manufacturing, engineering, planning, sales, maintenance, or research and development, to effect operational efficiency and economy; analyzes division/department budget. Requires of 6 - 8 years’ production and managerial experience and extensive knowledge of the products produced and/or manufactured by the organization.
Production Supervisor (8035) - Supervises all activities in a production area; maintains high productivity levels; monitors condition of production equipment and checks machine operating parameters on a regular basis; ensures product quality; maintains production record logs; initiates maintenance requests as required; ensures safety standards are met and monitors areas for safety hazards; assists with determining production schedules; maintains sufficient work in process to meet production fluctuations; performs on-the-job training of new employees. Requires high school education or equivalent and 4+ years’ production/manufacturing experience.
Quality Assurance Inspector (8040) - Inspects materials, parts, and assemblies by sample inspection procedures; inspects parts for approving or correcting equipment set-ups for production; performs visual evaluations and measurements as specified in the appropriate workmanship standards, using statistical sampling techniques; uses precision measuring devices, such as dial calipers, height gauges with dial indicator and may use more sophisticated equipment such as coefficient machine, tensile tester, and fluoroscopic equipment; produces reports and/or graphs indicating results of daily audit; and communicates quality information to production supervisor. Requires high school education with technical training in quality assurance techniques and processes and 2 - 4 years’ related work experience.
Quality Assurance Manager (8042) – Manages, plans, coordinates, and directs quality control program designed to ensure continuous production/service consistent with established standards; analyzes, evaluates, and presents information regarding business situations, production capabilities, manufacturing problems, economic trends, and design and development of new products to management; develops initial and subsequent modifications of product designs to delineate areas of responsibility, personnel requirements, and operational procedures within program; and reviews technical problems and recommends solutions. Requires technical training and education in quality assurance techniques, methods, and processes and 6+ years’ related work experience.
Stock/Warehouse Specialist (8045) - Performs manual and clerical duties involved in receiving, storing and issuing equipment, materials and supplies in a central location; examines stock to verify conformance to specifications and invoices, prepares periodic, special or perpetual inventory; requisitions stock to fill incoming orders. Requires high school education or equivalent with 1 – 2 years’ related work experience.
Supply Chain Director (8046) – Manages the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of supply functions; develops and implements sourcing and procurement strategies; negotiates vendor contracts including warehousing and logistics; targets and implements inventory management plans; oversees continuous improvement methods with suppliers; creates and manages supply chain budget; and designs and implements complete supply chains for all products. Job requires college degree with 8+ years’ corporate supply chain experience.
Warehouse Supervisor (8050) - Directs the warehouse activities; coordinates storage and distribution of inventory goods; prepares work schedules to ensure complete coverage of warehouse operation; coordinates deliveries of materials and goods from suppliers; ensures shipments to customers/users are correctly sent and on time; oversees inventory levels of warehouse materials and goods; maintains equipment and facility in good working order. Requires high school or equivalent education with supervisory training courses and 5+ years’ warehouse experience including supervisory experience.
Welder (8051) – Welds metal components together to fabricate or repair products according to layouts, blueprints, or work orders, using brazing and a variety of arc and gas welding equipment. A combination of over one year of directly related training and/or experience is typically required for carrying out the responsibilities for this job.
